Ways to Get Connected
College Student care packages
We have an opportunity to support our seven college students. Please stop by the table in the lobby area where we have placed a “Care Package” for each student and sign their cards with some encouraging comments for their upcoming finals. We are in need of some items to send to them. If you’d like to provide something, examples of what you could bring would be a roll of quarters, gift cards (Starbucks, Fast food, etc), small snack packs, peanut butter snack crackers, candy, Bath & Body items, Small Kleenex pack, hand sanitizer, gum, car wash tokens, Chapstick, protein bars, etc. These care packages will be sent no later than December 4th. Please see Carol Hudson or Abby Peper for more information.
Christmas Bell Ringing
If you would like to participate in the Salvation Army bell ringing program this holiday season, please sign up in the church lobby. Faithbridge will be covering several Fridays beginning November 24th.

Discipline. Ordinances. These aren’t words we hear very often in our world today. But sometimes the very thing we need more of in our relationships with God are more ordinances (spiritual practices) and the discipline to follow through with them. John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, had what he called 3 “General Rules” for Methodists. These rules were do good, do no harm, and stay in love with God. This week, we’re going to be talking about what Wesley meant by “Stay in Love with God,” and we’ll see what these spiritual practices and disciplines have to do with loving God. Perhaps you’ll learn about a Christian spiritual practice that might change your life and your relationship with Jesus.
Blessed to bless,
