Ways to Get Connected

Christmas Cookies

If you are baking cookies for the Christmas Eve delivery to first responders and workers, please be sure to have them at the church by noon this Saturday, December 23rd.

Poinsettias for the Holidays

Thank you to anyone who provided a poinsettia to brighten the building throughout the Christmas season. Please be sure to take the plant home after the Christmas Eve service or the following Tuesday.  Those remaining will be donated to a local nursing home.

 Faithbridge Family Christmas Party

Our first annual Faithbridge Family Christmas party was a great success.  Thanks to everyone who had a part in the celebration.

Christmas Eve Service

We hope to see you at 6:30PM this Sunday, December 24th for our Christmas Eve Candlelight service.  This will replace our usual Sunday morning service. We are hoping to have a larger than usual crowd, so are asking that our able bodied members park in the “Love to Sew” lot or carpool, if possible. This will leave more close parking for visitors.

Also, our offering on Christmas Eve will be going towards our missions efforts in 2018.  One of the ways our church has been able to be a huge blessing to the Lake community is through our “Food Truck” ministry.  Each year, in early spring, we purchase a HUGE amount of food to sort, repackage, and distribute to local Food Pantry ministries around the Lake.  You can support this vital ministry of our church by your gift this Christmas Eve.

             Pastor’s Piece

Is it here yet?  Is it Christmas?  Almost…

I thought a lot about what to write this week.  I was going to promo our Christmas service and tell you all the amazing things we’ve got in store so you might be excited and encouraged to invite your friends and family.  But I decided not to do that.  Instead, if you are in town, I hope that you and your family will join us at 6:30pm for our Christmas Eve service.  It’s going to be great!

Wherever you will be this weekend, I wish you and yours the joy that can only come from Christ.  And I hope that this Christmas season gives you time to remember the depths of God’s blessings that have been poured out in your life.

Blessed to bless,

Pastor Andy
