Christmas is almost here! Our sermon series for the month of December is called “Sent,” and it’s based upon a book by the same title by Jorge Acevado. On Sunday we will talk about what it means for Jesus to be Immanuel, which means “God is with us.” Then, on Monday night we’ll gather at 6:30pm for our Christmas Eve service. You won’t want to miss this service! If your family is in town, bring them with you. It’s going to be a great reminder of the Christmas story, and we are going to close our service by being sent out into the world to shine our lights in the darkness. Really, you’re not going to want to miss it!
If you absolutely can’t make it to the service, we’re working on making the service available via live stream. I’ll send out another email when we get that up and running so you know how to view the service.
Whether you’re in town, or far from home this week, may you truly have a Merry Christmas. May you find that in the midst of the chaos of life you are able to encounter the hope, peace, joy, and love of Christ. And may YOU be the Light of Christ to everyone that you meet. Amen, and amen.
