Newsletter Week of February 18th

Pastor’s Piece
This week we’ll be continuing our sermon series, “The 5th Gospel,” as we journey together to the holy city of Jerusalem.  The time that I was able to spend in Jerusalem was  deeply spiritually moving.   Jesus didn’t spend much of His life in Jerusalem, but the time that He did spend there was very significant.  We will explore the story of Jesus in the Temple as a boy.  Then we’ll get to catch glimpses of the last week of Jesus’ life- the place where Jesus taught in the Temple on Wednesday, the house of Caiphas (the chief priest) where Jesus was charged with blasphemy, and the site of Jesus’ crucifixion.  And to top it all off you’ll have a chance to try dates, one of the favorite fruits of Israel.  You aren’t going to want to miss church this week!  If you can’t make it in, remember you can watch the service every week online through Facebook.  Join us at church on Sunday as we explore Jerusalem and some of the important moments in Jesus’ life and ministry that happened in this holy city.
***My apologies to those of you who tried to join in worship with us online last week.  I know that you didn’t get to see the photos and videos.  That was entirely my fault, and we’ve got that fixed!***
Blessings,Pastor Andy

Easter Choir
Anyone who may be interested in singing with the choir for the Easter service, please join us after the service on March 3rd as we listen and sing through the music for the first time.  With only three songs, it won’t be an overwhelming commitment and it is always a lot of fun. Please join us!

Coming This Summer- Ignite Mobile Camp
Don’t forget to let everyone know about our Ignite Mobile Camp, July 22-26, hosted right here at Faithbridge Church. Campers age 6-12 should get ready for five full days of exciting activities, adventures and learning about God!  Ignite Mobile Camp pairs high-energy fun with gospel centered worship that will leave your camper excited about living their life for Jesus Christ! Highly trained college-age staff does life-on-life ministry with every camper.  Kids will have a blast with the wide range of activities like bouncing in the inflatables, playing Gaga ball, and singing and dancing to silly songs!
The cost is $50/camper, but now through Feb 28th it’s just $25/camper with the Early Bird Discount!  Our goal as a church is to get 100 kids signed up, so spread the word to everyone you know- parents, kids, and grandparents!

NEW CHURCH SERVICE TIME
Remember, beginning Sunday, March 3rd, the morning service will begin at 9:30AM rather than 9:45. Mark your calendars now so you’re sure to be on time.
