Newsletter Week of Sept 30th

This grave is in the Arab cemetery just outside the West wall of Jerusalem. The Jewish cemetery is on the Western slope (aka Mount of Olives) of the Kidron Valley, and the Arab (Muslim) cemetery is on the Eastern slope. You can clearly see the Mount of Olives in the background. If you know where to look you can spot the Church of All Nations.

Pastor’s Piece

Our family is on vacation this week, so I’ll keep this short. I hope that you’re continuing our reading plan for “The Full Gospel Project.” This week we’re reading Mark 11-12. Know that I am reading along with you somewhere near the Nevada/Utah border today!

You won’t want to miss church on Sunday. Our preacher will be Rev. Kim Jenne. Rev. Jenne is the Director of Connectional Ministries for the Missouri Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I have had the privilege of working with her on several projects and teams that help make ministry possible in congregations all over our state. She is a great speaker and a good friend, and I know that you’re going to be blessed by the message that she’ll bring.

Pastor Andy

This week’s reading is Mark 11-12.
