Thank you to those who have offered to be part of the new Faithbridge Care Ministry. If a member has a serious need for assistance we’ll see if we can find someone to help. If you would like to be on our distribution email when there is a need, if you have some free time and are willing to help out occasionally, there is still time to join the team. If you are interested just contact the church office and we will add you to the contact list.
Check Out our Faithbridge Webpage
The Faithbridge web page has been updated. Please take a moment to check out the new layout, pictures and information. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to let the church office know.
The next Hope House Volunteer Days are March 1st (Wed.), 3rd (Fri.), and 4th (Sat) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
One Big Hill
Faithbridge is beginning a new sermon series, called One Big Hill. Nowhere does Jesus talk more clearly about what it looks like to follow him than in the Sermon on the Mount. It’s a provocative and counter-intuitive announcement about what happens when God shows up: The poor, the meek, and those who mourn are called blessed. Enemies are loved, the poor are cared for, God’s will is done on earth.
This week’s message is “Anger and Lust”.
So many people struggle with lust, pornography, physical boundaries within relationships, etc. Ever wonder if we spend so much of our energy attacking the symptom while never attending to the source? What causes these things to surface? Where do they come from? Why? Join Buck as he addresses the relationship between anger, control and lust in this week’s sermon.
